A utility library should be evaluated as part of the modpack that uses it. CoroUtil is not an FPS button, and safe maintenance depends more on version discipline, trusted files, backups, and measured testing than on aggressive tweaking.
Set realistic performance expectations
Do not expect a library dependency to increase frame rate by itself. The visible performance impact depends on the mods using it, world activity, Java settings, and the rest of the pack.
Measure the same scene before and after a controlled change if performance is the concern.
Use safe file practices
Back up important instances, verify filenames and version labels, and scan downloads with your normal security tools. Avoid mixing source archives, installers, and compiled mod files without understanding their purpose.

Update as a dependency group
Before replacing CoroUtil, identify the mods that rely on it. Update compatible versions together in a test copy, then verify world loading and normal gameplay before migrating a primary instance.
Dependency hygiene also means removing obsolete duplicates and documenting known-good versions for future recovery.
Practical next steps
Keep a written record of the versions that work together, change one dependency group at a time, and preserve a backup before updates. For a broader overview, see the CoroUtil guide library or return to the download section for the project’s specified archive.
